UPDATE (11/15/09) New blog up!

My name is Dustin...and I'm a runner. This Summer, August 15th, I will be running from Southern California to my home town in West Texas for The American Cancer Society. Cancer has touched both my family and friends, and I wanted to take an opportunity to do something to support further research. The journey will take me over twelve hundred miles through desert, over mountains, and across the Great Plains.

The goal? To raise one million dollars over the next three and a half months for cancer research. It's lofty, but I believe with your support, we'll get there...and then some.

This site is the hub for all of my donation and fund raising endeavors. Here you will quickly and easily be able to donate to The American Cancer Society through my Team ACS page, as well as donate to Dustin's Road Team. The latter is to help support the physical run itself, helping us keep geared up, on the road, and me in the proper condition to run everyday.

That said, if you can only donate to one or the other, please...give to The American Cancer Society. They're why I'm doing this in the first place.

Finally, please feel free to look around. I'll be posting a regular blog, training updates, photos, linking to news coverage of the run, and hopefully we'll be getting plenty of video leading up to and after the run begins.
